Cycling festivals and mobility events in Italy

Overview

Various cycling festivals and mobility initiatives are being held across different regions in Italy.

In Brixen, the bike festa Südtirol integrates high-tech cycling exhibitions and an Innovation Gallery with regional culture. The event offers guided rides focused on local themes, such as ‘Ride for Strudel’ and ‘Apfel & Aroma’, alongside enduro testing and creative workshops. The festival also collaborates with World Bicycle Relief.

In San Venanzo, the Festa della Bici is organized as part of the ‘Comuni in Bici, Comunità più Smart’ project to promote sustainable mobility and active lifestyles. The program features family-oriented activities, including a children’s gymkhana, a family ride, and a ‘garage swap’ for used bicycles, as well as amateur cycling tours.
