Brno prepares for Christmas markets and tree donations

Brno is preparing for the upcoming advent season with various Christmas market locations and community initiatives. Markets are scheduled to begin on November 13 at Zelný trh, Moravské náměstí, parts of náměstí Svobody, and Kapucínské náměstí. A new location this year includes Kapucínské náměstí. The festivities will feature over 160 stalls, including traditional crafts, a Ferris wheel, a children's village, and musical performances by artists such as Lucie and Žlutý pes.

In a separate community effort, the Šlapanice Real Estate Administration is inviting residents to donate large coniferous trees from their properties to be used as Christmas trees in Bedřichovice. The administration has offered to handle the professional felling and transport of the trees at its own expense if an agreement is reached. Interested parties are encouraged to contact the administration by November 16, 2026.
