Theatrical institutions in Brno are launching their new seasons with distinct thematic focuses.

Divadlo Polárka will host the 11th annual Polárkový dort festival from September 17 to 20. The program includes the premiere of ‘METODA DESTRUKCE: Matka Otec Dcera’ and various productions such as ‘Grandhotel pocitů’ and ‘Nekonečný příběh’. The festival features performances from several ensembles, including Malé divadlo from Budějovice and Damúza from Prague, alongside workshops and concerts.

HaDivadlo is entering its 52nd season, titled ‘Pak přišel polibek na ústa’. Following its first season under new artistic leadership, this upcoming season focuses on themes of emotion, intimacy, and human relationships. The season will officially open on September 5 with a live installation in the Alfa pasáž, followed by premiere performances and a concert.
