German recreational‑vehicle maker Bürstner announced the complete shutdown of its caravan line, shifting focus to motorhomes and camper‑vans. CEO Hubert Brandl said the pause is temporary and a new caravan concept will be presented in two years.

At the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf (28 August – 6 September 2026) Bürstner unveiled several new models. The Signature series, now built on a Mercedes‑Sprinter chassis, starts at €94 000. The Habiton camper‑van is offered with all‑wheel drive and a new cross‑bed layout. Updates also include price adjustments for the budget Papillon model and two new variants of the B66 edition. The company’s recent overhaul reduced its former 15‑model range to three new series, aiming to strengthen its position in the motorhome market.
