Brzeg County road upgrades and Stargard autism centre renovation in Poland

Local authorities in Brzeg County are carrying out extensive road modernisation after recent floods. Projects include rebuilding the bridge in Osiek Grodkowski, modernising a 2.5 km stretch of DP 1505, and overhauling DP 1185 between Przecza and Oldrzyszowice. Funding from the Government Road Development Fund is used to refurbish Piastowska and Łokietka streets in Brzeg, with works set to start on the Łokietka‑Sikorski section. Additional works cover road renewals in Gierszowice and partial repairs on several county routes, while tenders are prepared for further bridge and road projects. The county’s road network totals about 320 km.

In Stargard, the municipal building at Składowa 2a is being renovated to improve accessibility and services for people with special needs. An elevator has been installed, interiors refurbished, and a new Community Self‑Help House for adults on the autism spectrum is being created, offering daytime care and therapy. The refurbishment also supports local disability organisations operating from the same premises.
