BTG Pactual switches Mastercard VIP lounge access to DragonPass

BTG Pactual announced to its Mastercard cardholders that, starting 24 July 2026, the VIP lounge benefit will be provided through DragonPass instead of the current LoungeKey platform. The change is part of a strategy to unify lounge access in a newer, app‑integrated system covering more than 1,400 airport lounges worldwide.

During a transition period, customers may use both LoungeKey and DragonPass; for the TAP BTG Pactual Black card the LoungeKey access will remain active until 24 August 2026. BTG Pactual confirmed that the number of free annual lounge accesses (four per year) will not change. Access will be managed digitally via the BTG Banking app, where users generate a QR code that is shown at the lounge reception.

The bank emphasized that the migration will not affect existing free‑access policies and that any previously consumed LoungeKey accesses will be accounted for after the switch.
