BTS attracts 110,000 fans for 13th‑anniversary concert in Busan

South Korean boy band BTS staged its 13th‑anniversary concerts on December 12‑13 at Busan Asiad Main Stadium, drawing more than 110,000 fans from around the world. The event, part of the "ARIRANG" world tour, turned the city into a festival with sand sculptures, pop‑up stores, AI‑driven travel recommendations and limited‑edition food menus. A night‑time drone show featuring 1,000 drones displayed pixel‑art portraits of the members and the slogan "HELLO ARMY" over Gwangalli Beach. The Korean government and local authorities deployed over 3,000 safety personnel, increased public‑transport services and implemented special immigration procedures for an estimated 50,000 foreign visitors. BTS also performed a Korean‑language version of the song "NORMAL" and highlighted traditional Korean visual motifs throughout the show, underscoring the concert’s cultural and economic significance for Busan.
