BTS Celebrates 13th Anniversary with Busan Concerts and UAE Fan Events

South Korean boy band BTS marked its 13th anniversary on 13 June 2024, the day of its debut in 2013. The group returned to South Korea for a two‑day concert series in Busan on 12‑13 June, the first full‑group FESTA since the members completed military service.

Fans worldwide joined the celebration, with organized activities across the United Arab Emirates. In Dubai and Abu Dhabi, ARMY groups arranged a 3‑kilometre "Purple Run", cinema screenings of the Busan concert at Vox Cinemas, a buffet‑style viewing party at the Asiana Hotel, and free‑gift giveaways at malls. These events offered medals, t‑shirts and collectibles for participants, allowing fans who could not travel to South Korea to partake in the anniversary festivities.
