BTS concert in Busan draws 100,000 fans, prompting subway decorations and immigration staffing boost

Busan is preparing for BTS’s two‑night concert on the "Arirang" world tour by installing BTS‑themed wraps at Sports Complex Station and other nearby subway stops. Incheon Airport’s immigration office has placed staff on high alert for the expected surge of foreign arrivals. Data forecast around 48,660 entrants on the Thursday before the concerts, a 15 % increase over the previous week. The agency will boost immigration officers by up to 88 % and deploy additional supervisory staff to reduce waiting times, noting that Chinese tourists constitute the largest share of the incoming travelers.
