BTS marks 13 years since debut with release of new single “Come Over”
South Korean pop group BTS released the single “Come Over” in the early hours of Friday to commemorate the 13th anniversary of their debut. The track, accompanied by its lyrics and translation, reflects on lost love and apologies, and serves as a musical tribute to the septet’s journey.
The anniversary also prompted a look back at 13 memorable milestones: their 2013 debut with “No More Dream,” the first music‑show win in May 2015 with “I Need U,” winning Artist of the Year at Mnet Asian Music Awards in 2016, a historic performance at the American Music Awards in 2017, the 2019 sold‑out shows at São Paulo’s Allianz Parque, the English‑language breakthrough “Dynamite” topping the Billboard Hot 100 in 2020, and their speeches at the United Nations in 2018 and 2021 as part of the “Love Myself” campaign.
