BTS performs ‘Arirang’ World Tour dates in Colombia and Peru

South Korean group BTS is conducting their ‘Arirang’ World Tour across Latin America, marking significant cultural and economic milestones in Colombia and Peru.

In Bogotá, the group’s two performances at El Campín stadium were major cultural events, with fans arriving days in advance. The concerts are estimated to generate over $126 billion in the local economy. Following the shows, authorities have begun maintenance on the stadium's pitch.

In Lima, BTS arrived on October 5 for three scheduled concerts at Estadio San Marcos on October 7, 9, and 10. The group’s arrival triggered heavy security operations by the Peruvian National Police and local municipalities. To celebrate the visit, the district of Surco temporarily renamed a street ‘Avenida BTS’, and fans have organized a 150-drone light show at Costa Verde.

The group’s presence has also spurred cultural activities, such as art projects at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo in Lima. The massive fandom, known as ARMY, continues to demonstrate significant regional influence through organized philanthropy and large-scale community engagement across Latin America.
