BTS Arirang World Tour moves from Colombia to Peru

Overview

South Korean group BTS has completed the first stop of their ‘Arirang World Tour’ in Latin America, performing two consecutive sold-out concerts at the Nemesio Camacho El Campín stadium in Bogotá on October 2 and 3, 2026.

To mark the group’s first-ever performances in Colombia, Bogotá Mayor Carlos Fernando Galán signed Decree 413, officially declaring the seven members—RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook—as ‘Honorary Guests’ of the city. In recognition of their global cultural influence, landmarks such as the Palacio Liévano and the Torre Colpatria were illuminated in purple. The visit drove significant economic activity, with an estimated injection of over 126 billion Colombian pesos into the local economy. Following the shows, maintenance has begun on the El Campín stadium pitch.

The tour is now moving to Peru, where BTS is scheduled to perform three concerts at the Estadio San Marcos in Lima on October 7, 9, and 10. The group arrived in Peru on October 5, triggering heavy security operations by the Peruvian National Police and local municipalities.

Local celebrations include the temporary renaming of a street in Surco to ‘Avenida BTS’ and cultural collaborations at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Lima. Additionally, fans have organized a 150-drone light show at Costa Verde. Authorities in Lima continue to coordinate security and anti-fraud measures to manage an expected influx of nearly 70,000 attendees. The tour continues to demonstrate massive economic and social influence, with the group’s fandom, known as ARMY, demonstrating regional influence through organized philanthropy and community engagement.
