BUAP and Puebla Electoral Tribunal Ink Cooperation Agreement

On July 9, 2026, Lilia Cedillo Ramírez, rector of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP), led the signing of a collaboration agreement with the Tribunal Electoral del Estado de Puebla (TEEP). The pact is intended to generate knowledge, foster critical thinking and strengthen trust between the university and the electoral tribunal, giving students practical experience and professional confidence.

Both institutions highlighted the agreement’s role in supporting democratic life and a culture of legality. TEEP president Israel Argüello Boy and BUAP general counsel Miriam Olga Ponce Gómez stressed the need for continual preparation and better‑trained professionals. Attendees also included magistrates Irma Josefina Montiel Rodríguez, Luis David Benítez Taboada and law‑faculty director Alejandro Adrián Rebollar Mier.
