Taito releases Bubble Bobble Sugar Dungeons Boosted update
Taito and Arc System Works have released ‘Bubble Bobble Sugar Dungeons Boosted’, a major free update and expansion celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Bubble Bobble series. The update is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
Existing owners of the Steam version of ‘Bubble Bobble Sugar Dungeons’ will receive the ‘Boosted’ content as a free update. New features include the ‘Item Room’, the ‘Castle’ giant level, and various new items such as x2 Gummy and Gold Sugarees. The update also includes a port of the 1997 home console version of ‘Bubble Symphony’.
To mark the release, various sales are being offered across platforms, including discounts of up to 25% on Steam and 15% on console digital versions. In Japan, a social media campaign on X offers the chance to win a 40th-anniversary pin badge set.
