According to the 2026 American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) Convenience Store Study, Buc-ee’s has seen a decline in its customer satisfaction ratings. The Texas-based chain’s score dropped from 79 in 2025 to 77 in 2026, resulting in a tie for fourth place nationally alongside Maverik, Pilot, RaceTrac, and Shell.

Meijer rose to the top of the rankings, with its Meijer Express locations achieving the highest score in the country at 82, up from 78 the previous year. QuikTrip, Sheetz, and Wawa tied for second place with scores of 80, while Kwik Trip and Murphy USA tied for fifth with scores of 79.
