Bucharest is celebrating its 567th anniversary with a series of major cultural events scheduled for September 19 and 20, 2026. The city will host ‘Zilele Bucureștiului’, featuring music, visual arts, and urban experiences organized by the Bucharest City Hall through ARCUB.

A central highlight is the 11th edition of ‘iMapp Bucharest Winners League 2026’ at Constitution Square, where the Palace of the Parliament will serve as a massive screen for international video mapping artists. The program includes a concert by Rudimental and a special projection titled ‘NADIA – The Perfect 10’ dedicated to Nadia Comăneci.

Simultaneously, Art Safari New Museum has launched its 19th season at Amzei 13. Key exhibitions include ‘Brâncuși and His Muses’, featuring over 200 works including previously unexposed items, and ‘Pop Art. The World in Colors’, curated by Alexandre Eram, which explores six decades of visual culture from Andy Warhol to Jean-Michel Basquiat.

Other festivities include ‘Străzi Deschise’ on Calea Victoriei, offering street performances and exhibitions, and various activities across the city’s museum triangle and the Dâmbovița river.
