Bucharest City Hall launches feasibility study for Constanța Bridge widening
The Bucharest City Hall (PMB) will issue a tender in the coming weeks to carry out a feasibility study for widening the Constanța Bridge in the northern part of the capital. The study will examine expanding the carriageway to two traffic lanes, adding a bicycle path, sidewalks and the infrastructure needed for tram lines. The Investment Directorate is finalising the documentation, which will be sent to the Procurement Directorate within about three weeks.
The bridge expansion is part of a broader set of infrastructure initiatives coordinated with Sector 1, including the consolidation of the Băneasa Bridge, a new connection road to Biharia street, and urban regeneration of Calea Griviței.
