Bucharest hosts cultural festivals and musical anniversaries

Bucharest will host several cultural events in September 2026, including the seventh edition of the ‘Weekend la Palat’ program at the Cantacuzino Palace. Held from September 18 to 20, the event celebrates the city's history through music, film, literature, and architecture.

The program includes piano recitals by students from the Ilfov Children's Palace and pianist Lucian Stancu. Additionally, the 10th anniversary of the ‘OPERA FANtastica’ project will be celebrated at the Artmark Galleries in the Cesianu-Racoviță Palace. This special edition, titled ‘When music becomes a meeting of the soul,’ features mezzosoprano Ruxandra Donose and pianist Sergiu Tuhuțiu. The event will also include the launch of Donose's book, ‘Pe:trecere’.

These gatherings aim to connect the public with musical heritage and personal artistic narratives within historic Bucharest landmarks.
