Bucharest hosts family festivals and Zurli 20th anniversary parade

Bucharest will host several community and family-oriented cultural events in early October.

In Sector 2, Morarilor Park will host the “Community in the Park – Sector 2 Family Festival” on October 3 and 4. Organized by the Macaia Association, the free event features creative workshops, STEM experiments, sports activities, and street art. The festival includes interactive zones for recycling, science experiments, and mini-competitions in badminton and bowling, alongside magic shows.

Additionally, the children's entertainment group Zurli is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a parade through central Bucharest on October 4. Starting at the National Military Circle and proceeding along Calea Victoriei to Revolution Square, the parade will feature music, dance, and mascots. The event marks two decades of activity for Zurli, which has performed over 2,000 live shows for more than 1.5 million spectators across Romania and for the diaspora.
