Bucharest is hosting several cultural events this autumn. The 10th edition of the Spotlight International Light Art Festival will take place from October 9 to 11, 2026. Supported by PPC Energie and organized by ARCUB, the festival features the “Light Rider” interactive installation by artist Adrian Damian in Revolution Square. This installation uses a 16-meter metal ring to illustrate energy synchronization through light.

The festival, themed “PLAYGROUND,” will also include video mapping shows and 13 light installations along Calea Victoriei and within various shopping malls.

Additionally, the Opera Comică pentru Copii (OCC) is organizing the Witches Festival from October 9 to November 1, 2026. The event transforms the institution into a “Secret Academy of Magic,” offering children workshops, missions, and interactive activities designed to explore fantasy characters through play.
