Budapest summer fashion trends and exhibitions showcase 2026 style scene

Fashion editors note that Hungarian summer wedding and formal wear this year favor midi and maxi silhouettes, with half‑sleeve dresses, tailored blazer‑trousers, wide‑leg overalls and pastel colours taking centre stage. The shift moves away from mini cocktail dresses toward comfortable, elegant options that allow guests to dance all night.

Budapest’s cultural calendar features several fashion‑related and broader exhibitions through the summer. The Lookbook – Divat, identitás és narratíva exhibition runs at Kiscelli Museum until 15 July, exploring how clothing shapes urban identity.
