Budimex consortium wins 1.066 billion CZK highway contract in Czech Republic
A consortium consisting of Budimex and the Czech company Firesta-Fišer has secured a contract to construct the Úlibice bypass on the D35 motorway in the Czech Republic. The contract, valued at approximately 1.066 billion CZK net, was awarded by the Czech Road and Motorway Directorate (ŘSD).
The project includes the construction of a 1.6 km section of the D35 motorway, more than 2 km of relocated I/16 road, a new non-stop Úlibice junction, a roundabout, and approximately 80 additional structures, including several bridges.
Construction is scheduled to begin by the end of 2025 or early 2026, with completion expected in 2029. This project marks Budimex’s second major motorway contract in the Czech Republic, following their ongoing work on the D35 section between Džbánov and Litomyšl.
