Buenos Aires launches call for public hospital health researchers
The Ministry of Health of the Province of Buenos Aires and the Scientific Investigation Commission (CIC) have launched a 2026 call for applications to recognize health researchers within the public hospital system. The initiative aims to elevate the status of public health research and strengthen the link between the scientific and healthcare sectors.
Applications for the title of Associate Health Researcher are open from October 15 to November 16. To qualify, applicants must be permanent staff members within the public health system and must not hold exclusive dedication at national or provincial universities, unless working in university teaching hospitals. The designation lasts three years and is based on professional trajectory rather than a competitive contest. Recognized researchers will gain access to scientific project calls, funding mechanisms, and specialized publication networks.
