Overview
The Ministry of Health of the Province of Buenos Aires and the Scientific Investigation Commission (CIC) have launched a 2026 call for applications to recognize health professionals within the provincial public hospital system as ‘Associated Researchers in Health’.
The initiative, which accepts applications from October 15 to November 16, seeks to strengthen the connection between the scientific and sanitary sectors by promoting research focused on specific provincial health issues. The designation is based on professional trajectory rather than a competitive contest and lasts for an initial period of three years with the possibility of renewal.
Eligible applicants must be permanent staff members within the public health system. The program provides recognized researchers with access to scientific project funding, opportunities to publish in scientific journals, and participation in training and cooperation networks. This recognition does not alter the professional’s current employment status, salary, or workload.
