Buenos Aires mayors signal support for Axel Kicillof

Mayors from the seventh section of the Buenos Aires province gathered in Saladillo for a plenary session of the Movimiento Derecho al Futuro (MDF) party. During the meeting, local leaders expressed support for Governor Axel Kicillof and called for the continued development of a “national and popular field alternative” aimed toward 2027.

Notable attendees included mayors Jorge Ferraresi of Avellaneda, Mario Secco of Ensenada, Fernando Espinoza of La Matanza, Fabián Cagliardi of Berisso, and Andrés Watson of Florencio Varela. Provincial government officials, including Minister of Government Carlos Bianco and Minister of Infrastructure and Public Services Gabriel Katopodis, were also present. Ferraresi stated that the group is working toward proposals for the upcoming stage of governance alongside Kicillof.
