Lourdes Milagros Rodríguez arrested for ‘black widow’ robbery scheme
Lourdes Milagros Rodríguez, known on social media as ‘Eluney’, has been arrested in connection with a series of robberies committed under the ‘viuda negra’ (black widow) modality in the Buenos Aires province.
The investigation began after a 31-year-old man, who contacted Rodríguez via Instagram, was drugged during a meeting at his home in Pilar on July 24. Upon regaining consciousness, the victim discovered that cash, a PlayStation 4, an HP notebook, a Samsung S25 smartphone, and his house keys had been stolen.
Following a security camera analysis that identified the getaway vehicle, police conducted raids in José C. Paz and Merlo. During the operations, authorities seized six cell phones, approximately $11,700 pesos, $100 USD, and various personal items belonging to the victim. Two men, a Venezuelan national and a Chilean national, were also detained during the proceedings.
Investigators discovered that Rodríguez already had an active arrest warrant for the possession of narcotics for the purpose of commercialization. The case is being handled by the UFI N° 2 of Pilar and the Guarantee Court N° 7.
