Buenos Aires provides free dental, eye and pet rabies vaccination services in July

The Buenos Aires city government announced a series of free health services for residents during the week of 13‑17 July 2026. Free dental and ophthalmology care will be offered at designated community clubs and health centers, with appointments required via online forms. Ophthalmology visits include visual checks, prescription of glasses and free collection of eyewear. The program is coordinated with the University of Buenos Aires, which also supports the dental clinics.

Separate free rabies vaccination clinics for dogs and cats will take place on 11‑12 July at locations in La Paternal, Villa Crespo, Barracas, Villa Soldati and Flores. No prior appointment is needed, and the service complies with national law requiring rabies vaccination for pets older than three months. Pet owners are advised to bring collars, leashes and identification tags, and to arrive early due to limited slots.
