Argentina hosts major film, art, and audiovisual festivals

Argentina is hosting several major cultural and audiovisual events across various regions. The fourth edition of the International Film Festival of the Province of Buenos Aires (FICPBA) will take place in La Plata and 60 other municipalities, featuring over 250 films from 28 countries and an international audiovisual market.

In Bahía Blanca, the first Audiovisual Fair (FABB) is being held, focusing on industry, exhibition, training, and new narratives. The event brings together filmmakers, producers, and video game developers through workshops, business rounds, and screenings.

Other notable cultural activities include the 38th edition of the Women and Cinema Festival in Buenos Aires, which aims to promote female roles in film production, and the 35th anniversary of the arteba contemporary art fair at La Rural, featuring 70 galleries from around the world. Additionally, the Cortar y Contar Film Festival, organized by the Argentine Society of Audiovisual Editors, will highlight the art of film editing at Palacio Libertad.
