Buenos Aires Province delivers 22 homes in Iriarte, General Pinto

The Province of Buenos Aires handed over 22 new houses to families in Iriarte, part of the General Pinto district, on July 10, 2026. The ceremony was led by Silvina Batakis, minister of Habitat and Urban Development, alongside Alexis Guerrera, vice‑president of the provincial Chamber of Deputies, and local mayor Fernando Rodríguez.

The delivery is part of Governor Axel Kicillof’s provincial housing program, which continues to fund construction with provincial resources after national financing was paused. Batakis highlighted the broader effort, noting that more than 8,000 homes are under construction in the province, 36 have already been delivered elsewhere, 21 are ready for allocation in the district seat, and 34 are being built in Germania. The “Programa Completar” aims to finish the 108 homes previously halted by the national government. Batakis said, “Everything we are achieving is backed by the silent work of many state workers; this dream must become the gateway for many more families to trust the state.”
