Buenos Aires province district fairs showcase student projects in education, arts and science
Two district education fairs were held in Buenos Aires province, Argentina. In Chivilcoy, the Feria Distrital de Educación, Artes, Ciencias y Tecnología hosted 77 projects from primary to secondary schools, with opening remarks by district education officials and participation from the municipal mayor’s office. In the Nueve de Julio district, the Feria Distrital de Educación, Artes, Ciencias y Tecnología at the Mercedes V. de Labbe school featured 60 projects, with attendance by provincial senator Germán Lago and local education authorities. Both events emphasized critical thinking, community‑focused solutions to local environmental and social issues, and the role of school‑based research in fostering democratic participation.
Organisers highlighted the quality and diversity of the student work, noting that the fairs provide a platform for pupils to present technological, artistic and scientific initiatives that address real‑world problems in their districts.
