Buenos Aires Province equips schools with new classrooms, furniture and cafeteria gear

The provincial government of Buenos Aires installed complete classroom furniture and blackboards in schools across the Junín district, announcing the deliveries as part of a continuing investment in public education despite broader fiscal tightening. The Council School of Junín also reported an official notification of a 10.8% increase in rural school‑transport fares, adding to a 22.2% rise applied earlier this year.

In a separate rollout, the province supplied kitchen and dining equipment to 109 schools in the districts of Roque Pérez, Ensenada, Saavedra, Rivadavia and Rojas. Items delivered included ovens, refrigerators, freezers, cooktops, mixers, tables and utensils. Reported spending exceeded 70 million Argentine pesos across the districts, with the largest individual allocations of more than 20 million pesos in Roque Pérez and Rojas.

Both initiatives are presented as part of the provincial education agenda to improve school facilities and support access to education in urban and rural areas.
