Buenos Aires province officials deliver property deeds to families
Officials from the Province of Buenos Aires and various municipalities have conducted ceremonies to grant property deeds to numerous families, providing legal security for their homes.
In Trenque Lauquen, Mayor Francisco Recoulat and representatives from the General Notary Office of the Government signed 74 deeds. These include 58 under Law 10.830 and 16 through the Provincial Housing Institute. The program, titled “Mi escritura, mi casa,” allows residents to obtain property titles free of charge, enabling them to access rights such as mortgage applications and housing protection.
In Florencio Varela, Mayor Andrés Watson and Community Development Minister Andrés Larroque delivered 416 deeds to local residents. The initiative aims to ensure legal certainty and provide a legacy for future generations. Beneficiaries noted that the municipal and provincial support was essential in completing the process, which would have otherwise been prohibitively expensive.
