Buenos Aires province legal and property initiatives

Overview

The Province of Buenos Aires has implemented several initiatives to improve legal access and security for its residents.

In October 2026, the Public Ministry of the Province of Buenos Aires and the Avellaneda-Lanús Diocese signed an agreement to establish judicial service offices in Avellaneda and Lanús. These offices, located at Capilla Santísimo Sacramento and Hogar de Cristo, aim to provide legal guidance and assistance from fiscal, defense, and tutelar professionals to vulnerable populations, reducing the necessity for travel to central judicial headquarters.

Later in the month, provincial and municipal officials conducted ceremonies to distribute property deeds to families in Trenque Lauquen and Florencio Varela. Through programs such as ‘Mi escritura, mi casa,’ residents received titles free of charge. In Trenque Lauquen, 74 deeds were signed, while in Florencio Varela, 416 deeds were delivered to provide legal certainty and housing protection.
