Bugatti and Koenigsegg hypercars face new modifications and performance tests
The high-end automotive sector sees significant activity with the introduction of the Mansory Centuria and a high-profile performance comparison between leading hypercars.
German tuner Mansory has unveiled the Centuria, a radical modification of the Bugatti Chiron. Priced at approximately $5 million, the Centuria features extensive carbon fiber bodywork, including a redesigned front fascia, modified fenders, and a new blade. The vehicle aims to offer a unique luxury experience through a redesigned interior and enhanced aerodynamics, such as enlarged air intakes and a massive rear diffuser.
In a separate performance test conducted near Dubai, the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport and the Koenigsegg Jesko Attack were pitted against each other in a series of drag races. The Bugatti, powered by a 1,600 hp W16 engine, demonstrated superior traction in standing starts. However, in rolling starts, the Jesko Attack, utilizing a V8 biturbo engine, showed significant strength. The tests resulted in a photo finish for the 400m sprint, with the Bugatti winning by an extremely slim margin.
