Bugatti launches La Maison Pur Sang to certify rare models
Bugatti has launched ‘La Maison Pur Sang’, a strategic program designed to authenticate and certify its rarest historical models as works of art. Based in Molsheim, the initiative aims to consolidate the brand’s position in the hyper-exclusive segment by providing a curation service that guarantees the provenance and value of its most significant vehicles for future generations.
As a centerpiece of this program, the company highlighted the certification of a Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse (Chassis 8.100). This specific model, featuring an aluminum body and a Carmine Red leather interior, underwent a comprehensive process to restore it to its original specifications. The vehicle is powered by an 8.0-liter W16 engine producing 1,200 PS.
By implementing this certification process, Bugatti seeks to manage the narrative and secondary market value of its creations, similar to strategies used in high-end watchmaking. The program ensures that each certified vehicle has its pedigree and original condition validated by specialists in Molsheim, transforming these automobiles into secure investments for collectors.
