Bulgaria schedules extensive electricity outages July 8‑10

On July 8‑10 2026 Bulgarian power distributors announced planned interruptions across dozens of municipalities. The outages are caused by operational switching, urgent repairs and security work on electricity‑supply equipment.

In Pavlikeni and nearby streets, outages are slated for 08:00‑08:30 on July 10. In Varna, several districts (Trakata, Panorama, Briz, Aktsakovska Panorama, etc.) will face cuts from 08:30‑17:00 on July 8. Veliko Tarnovo’s western entry road and surrounding areas will lose power between 09:30‑11:30, while the Svishov municipality sees multiple short‑term cuts between 09:45‑16:00 across villages such as Gorna Studena, Aleksandrovо and others. Additional interruptions are listed for Dobrich, Dulgata, Manastir‑TP 37, Boriana, Provadiya and other localities, with phased shutdowns to avoid total loss of service.
