The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology has issued a yellow code warning for frost across nine regions in Western and Central Bulgaria for Saturday, October 3. Low temperatures are expected in basins and high fields, with minimums dropping to between 1°C and 3°C, including approximately 2°C in Sofia.
Despite the morning frost, much of the country is expected to experience sunny weather during the day. Maximum temperatures will range between 18°C and 23°C. In Burgas, temperatures are forecasted to reach 21°C with sea water temperatures around 20-21°C.
In other regions like Pleven, sunny conditions will prevail with daytime highs reaching up to 24°C. Winds are expected to be moderate to strong from the east-northeast, particularly in Eastern Bulgaria. The weather is expected to remain relatively stable through the weekend, with temperatures gradually rising toward the beginning of the following week.
