Bulgaria weather forecast shows continued summer heat
Bulgaria is experiencing a continuation of summer weather, with temperatures expected to remain high. Climatologist Prof. Georgi Rachev notes that summer conditions are likely to persist until at least mid-September, characterized by pleasant, non-scorching heat compared to July.
Weather forecasts indicate a mix of conditions across the country. While much of Bulgaria will see sunny skies with temperatures reaching between 30°C and 35°C, some regions may experience cooling due to a cold air mass from the northeast. The Danube Plain and central regions may see increased cloudiness and localized rain or thunderstorms, particularly in the southern central areas and the Rhodope Mountains.
In the southwest, sunny weather and temperatures up to 34°C are expected. Along the Black Sea coast, temperatures will range between 23°C and 28°C, with sea water temperatures remaining around 25°C to 26°C. Some coastal areas may experience moderate to strong winds and increased wave activity.
