Bulgarian biathletes compete at Loop One Biathlon Fest in Munich

Bulgarian biathletes Milena Todorova and Vladimir Iliev competed in the super sprint at the Loop One Biathlon Fest in Munich. Todorova finished 16th in the women's qualification, missing the final by just 0.3 seconds behind Austria's Anna Gändler. Despite a perfect prone shooting round, two misses in the standing position resulted in two penalty loops.

In the men's super sprint qualification, Vladimir Iliev placed 24th, finishing 34.3 seconds behind the leader, Martin Ponsiluoma. Iliev recorded only one shooting error in the prone stage but finished 11 seconds away from the top 15 qualifying spots.

The event, held in Munich's Olympic Park, is an urban biathlon festival supported by the International Biathlon Union (IBU) and attracts large crowds. The competition features approximately 60 of the world's top biathletes.
