In the men’s super sprint, Sweden’s Martin Ponsiluoma secured victory after a photo finish against Norway’s Johan-Olav Botn. Bulgarian competitor Vladimir Iliev placed 24th in the men’s qualification. German athlete Philipp Nawrath narrowly missed the podium, finishing in fourth place.

In the women’s competition, France’s Océane Michelon won the first supersprint.
