Bulgarian DPS leader Delian Peevski reshuffles party leadership

Delian Peevski, head of Bulgaria's Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS), announced a major overhaul of the party’s Central Operational Bureau. Long‑standing figures Yordan Tsonev, Stanislav Anastassov, Bayram Bayram and Hamid Hamid were removed from deputy‑chair and other senior posts. New deputy chairpersons named by the party include Nida Ahmedov, Halil Letifov, Errol Myumyun, Radoslav Revanski and Iskra Mihaylova‑Koparova, with additional members such as Ayten Sabri, Atidje Alieva‑Veli and others joining the bureau.

The changes were justified by the party as a response to an analysis of its internal structures, recent election results and upcoming strategic goals. Peevski confirmed he will remain party leader while steering the new leadership team.
