Bulgarian driver Nikola Csolov wins Formula 2 Monaco race

Nikola Csolov (Camspus Racing) secured his third victory of the 2024 Formula 2 season by winning the main race in Monaco. Starting from second on the grid behind Brazilian Rafa Camara, Csolov stayed close throughout the sprint and, after a decisive pit‑stop strategy on lap 33, overtook Camara on the final lap to take the win by more than nine seconds. Alex Dun finished second and Dino Beganovic third.

Csolov described the triumph as “an incredible feeling, the best sensation in the world,” adding that the win was a “great redemption” after losing points in the Montreal events two weeks earlier due to penalties. The victory moved him within one point of championship leader Gabriel Mini, who remained atop the standings with 63 points.
