Bulgarian health inspectors launch mobile ‘eZdraves’ registration campaigns

Regional Health Inspection (RZI) teams in Bulgaria are conducting mobile campaigns to help citizens activate their electronic health records via the ‘eZdraves’ application.

In Asenovgrad, the Plovdiv RZI is organizing a session at the municipal building to assist residents, including parents seeking records for their children. The service is free and requires a smartphone, phone number, and email. A new ‘Public Control’ feature added by the Ministry of Health allows users to verify medical events such as hospitalizations, prescriptions, and immunizations in real time.

Similarly, the Pernik RZI is running a multi-year summer campaign with mobile points in areas like Tran and Breznik. Health inspectors report that young parents show the highest interest in the app, using it to track vaccinations and preventive check-ups. The campaign also promotes a ‘Health Library’ feature, which provides verified medical information from official institutions.
