Bulgarian Olympic Committee receives new building

The Bulgarian Olympic Committee (BOC) has been granted a new building following a government decision. Vesela Lecheva, President of the BOC, expressed gratitude to the government and the Prime Minister for resolving the long-standing issue regarding the organization's facilities.

The new building is located in Sofia, near the Sports Hall and the former Iranian Embassy. Lecheva noted that the site will form a significant sports ensemble alongside the Sports Ministry and the National Stadium. Plans for the new premises include the potential establishment of an Olympic library and an Olympic museum.

The facility is intended to serve the entire Olympic movement, providing a space for various sports organizations to conduct seminars, training sessions, and meetings. The BOC leadership plans to conduct a functional assessment of the building in the coming days to develop a realization plan.
