Bulgarian Olympic Committee receives new headquarters in Sofia

Vesela Lecheva, President of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee (BOC), has officially received the keys to the organization’s new headquarters in Sofia. Following a Council of Ministers decision, the BOC has been granted the use of the building, formerly the Iranian Embassy, for a period of 10 years free of charge.

Located at the corner of Vasil Levski Boulevard and Ivan Vazov Street, the building sits near the National Stadium Vasil Levski and the Sports Palace. Lecheva and Secretary General Danail Dimov inspected the premises to plan for upcoming internal renovations and spatial reorganization.

The BOC aims to transform the site into an ‘Olympic House’ that serves as a hub for sports federations. Planned facilities include an Olympic library, a museum of the Olympic movement, and spaces for seminars and working groups to support the Olympic movement.
