Bulgarian police seize narcotics in Veliko Tarnovo region

Police in the Veliko Tarnovo region of Bulgaria conducted a series of operations resulting in the seizure of various narcotics across several towns, including Lyaskovets, Kilifarevo, Svishtov, and Pavlikeni.

In Lyaskovets, officers inspected a vehicle containing two individuals, aged 17 and 26, and discovered two packets of cocaine. Following the initial stop, police located a hidden compartment in a brick fence used for drug handovers, where an additional 33 packets weighing approximately 25 grams were seized. A pre-trial investigation has been launched.

In other locations, authorities seized approximately 2 grams of cannabis in Kilifarevo from a 28-year-old man, and small amounts of amphetamine and cannabis in Svishtov and Pavlikeni. Legal proceedings have been initiated against the individuals involved.
