Bulgarian President Radev warns US, China, Russia dominate world order

President Rumen Radev told Bulgaria’s diplomatic corps that “the US, China and Russia dominate the world” and warned of an “unstable and conflict‑ridden transition to a multipolar world”. He said further clashes – military, economic and technological – are imminent as the existing rules crumble and new ones are built.

Radev highlighted Bulgaria’s strategic position, calling the country “a gateway” and a crossroads of major pan‑European corridors, including the emerging “Middle Corridor” linking Central Asia and Europe. He urged Bulgarian diplomacy to defend national interests, support peace talks on the war in Ukraine, and safeguard security, energy and market access for allies.
