Bulgaria's Trakia Motorway undergoes repairs, traffic restrictions imposed June 22‑25
From June 22 to June 25, the Trakia Motorway (A1) in Bulgaria will undergo patch‑work repairs on several sections in the Stara Zagora and Sliven regions. Traffic will not be stopped, but entry to the active and emergency lanes will be limited and vehicles will be directed to the passing lane. Work will be carried out between 07:00 and 20:00, with specific kilometre markers listed for each day. Drivers are urged to follow road signs and official information provided by the Road Infrastructure Agency.
Additionally, on the nights of June 23‑24, temporary traffic changes will be implemented on six sections of the Trakia Motorway in the Pazardzhik and Plovdiv regions to replace toll‑camera equipment. Traffic will be shifted to lanes where no work is occurring, with changes lasting until the camera replacements are completed. Motorists are advised to drive with heightened attention and appropriate speed.
