Bulgaria’s trust in Radev’s cabinet falls as new poll shows growing public distrust

A Market Links poll of 1,005 Bulgarian adults conducted between 13 and 21 June found that confidence in the government fell to 45 percent, while distrust rose by 6 percentage points and overall trust dropped by 5 points. The net rating for the cabinet declined by 11 points. Trust in Prime Minister (President) Rumen Radev also slipped, with a net decrease of about 9‑11 points. In contrast, trust in the National Assembly showed a modest rise, increasing from 19 percent to 22 percent. The survey also recorded low confidence levels for other political figures, with the highest trust at 14 percent for Kostadin Kostadinov of “Vazrazhdane” and the lowest for Delian Peevski at 6 percent, accompanied by 90 percent distrust.
