Bulleit Frontier Whiskey launches new '87 bourbon‑rye blend and tasting tour

Bulleit Frontier Whiskey announced the release of Bulleit ’87, a new core expression that blends bourbon and rye whiskies. Each component is aged for a minimum of four years and finished with toasted American and French oak staves before being blended and bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV) in Shelbyville, Kentucky. The blend is the brand’s first core addition since the 2011 introduction of Bulleit 95 Rye and features a new blue label on the signature frontier‑style bottle. Retail price is set at $29.99 for a 750‑ml bottle, with nationwide availability expected from September 2026.

To promote the launch, Bulleit is conducting a tasting tour that will visit 15 U.S. cities, including New Orleans, Austin, New York, Los Angeles and Louisville. Each stop pairs the whiskey with local food specialties inspired by the host city.
